The Fort Nelson galleries cover the history of artillery from the first rocks thrown as projectiles, to, modern intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Exhibits include fifteenth century bombards fired in siege warfare, a cannon bearing the insignia of the Tudor monarchs, a beautifully crafted Sikh gun and carriage ornamented with brass figures and animals.
