Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha
The newly built £14 million Siri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara was a result of probably the largest independent regeneration project in Southall. This imposing addition to the skyline of West London, with it‘s gleaming dome reminiscent of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, occupies a central place in the religious, cultural and social life of the community while its design embodies the traditional "built heritage" associated with Sikh architecture.
Its creation is a testament to the spirit of social enterprise and community service which have helped forge Southall's prominence as a focus for the Sikh community in Britain.
