Working as a voluntary researcher for ASHT was a challenging and fascinating task, one that helped me learn a lot about Punjabi history, something that I have always been deeply interested in and am only just gaining the opportunity to investigate. My assignment was to look into the annexation of the Sikh State in the Punjab by the British government in India.
