Heritage Shared 2010
This opening event of Heritage Shared month sees military historian & author Amarpal Singh Sidhu in conversation about his groundbreaking new book ‘The First Anglo Sikh War’. Followed by book signing.
Featuring a special display of items from the archives including a watercolour showing the aftermath of the Ferozeshah battle and a map from 1848 showing manoeuvres for four battles (Sobraon, Mudki, Ferozeshah and Aliwal) of the Anglo Sikh Wars. See them in the Foyle Reading Room from 5:30pm-7pm
