The Chattri Memorial, the only one of its kind in Britain, is built on the exact spot where 53 Hindu and Sikh soldiers who died in Brighton were cremated. It serves as a dedicated memorial to the Indian soldiers who fought on the Western Front during the First World War.
On Sunday June 14th a half hour Memorial service will be held to honour those that died during the Great War.
All are welcome to attend this unique ceremony which will be followed by refreshments and an Exhibition at a nearby venue.
