Empire of the Sikhs Book Launch

On 21st October 2008 ASHT will be hosting UK Launch of a new book, Empire of the Sikhs: The Life and Times of Maharajah Ranjit Singh, at the V & A. The launch will be attended by Jyoti M Rai the Co Author.
The book covers the life of Maharajah Ranjit Singh a man who has been largely written out of Western accounts of the subcontinent. Yet to his fellow countrymen he has been considered comparable in stature to his contemporary, Napoleon.
