Anglo Sikh Heritage Tour July 2009
Thursday 9th July to Wednesday 15th July 2009
'A Journey through History'
After the success of the Inaugural Sikh Heritage Tour in 2008, ASHT Tours brings you another chance to explore Sikh Heritage in the UK.
Explore some of the UK's most prestigious Museums and get special access to hidden Sikh treasures, not normally on public display.
This ‘Journey through History’ takes you from the exquisite Golden Throne of Maharajah Ranjit Singh following the footsteps of Maharajah Duleep Singh to Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s holiday Palace, to his current resting place in Elveden, Suffolk.
This unique 7 day tour will include contributions from experts on Sikh collections and the little known historic relationship between Britain and the Sikh nation.
‘This tour made me proud to be a Sikh, and reminds me of the importance of history. This is a MUST for every Sikh family’. Dr BP Sodhi & family. Inaugural Sikh Heritage Tour - July 2008
